I sent all my documents in. The company I am going to be working for has received all documents and said they will issue me a visa number. It has been 2 weeks and still no word? How long did it take for you to receive your number after you sent your documents?
I have to use that number and get a visa from my Korean Embassy which is right next to my house. How long does it take from the time I sign up for a visa there to the time I actually have it in my hand?
Reason I am worried is because I am "supposed" to leave Feb 20th and I am not sure how long the visa process works. Thanks |

The visa number should take around 2 weeks. Why dont you ask your recruiter just to be sure.
The visa will most likely be given to you the same day that you go into the Korean Embassy (at least in America).
Don't worry too much about the start date. The start dates have to be changed all the time because Korean immigration is incredibly incompetent.
Take a chill pill, enjoy the western world and you'll be here soon. |
