Hey guys, I've heard that its possible to basically circumnavigate Seoul by hiking a complete circle on the outer edges from mountain to mountain, which can take 2-3 days. Thats basically all I know about, but would love some info if anyone has done this or heard about it. Thanks

I'm not sure about the hike you're talking about, but the hike I like best
is:

-start at 3-Alley
-vertical ascent to Sam Ryan's
-down again and over the valley to RMT
-Hack your way through the outback to Wolfhound
-traverse over to Seoul Pub
-then if you're still up to it, reconnaissance in Hollywood Grill

classic foreigner Itaewon worship. OP, that would take more than 2-3 days I think the urban hike from Nowon to Suwon would be more interesting

Or a poster with a sense of humour that seems to have been "cured" in your case... Maybe by eating kimchi?

hey, cool idea. I enjoy urban hiking. I guess you would go:

Nowon, Achasan, Gwanaksan, Bukhansan, Dobongsan, and back to Nowon.

Some big urban hikes in there though, I don't know how you could do green space all the way.

Anyone else know?

The best part is that you could pull into love hotels, restaurants and convenience stores whenever the need arose. You wouldn't even need to haul supplies!

If you mean hiking the wall that goes around downtown Seoul (Namsan Naksan, Bukaksan, Inwhangsan) I've done it- or at least done the parts that still exist. Great hike, not hard at all- can even be done in a day if you really push (I did it in 2 days- I'm slow). If you Google "Seoul wall hike" a lot of posts will come up- many people/groups have done it. The tourist info center in Jongno by the old library actually had free maps of the route last time I was there.

Good overview: http://joongangdaily.joins.com/article/view.asp?aid=2912474
