|
|
I'm an American living and working in Pyeongtaek. I plan on doing some traveling in Korea this coming year and want to know where the Canadians are hanging out. I'm open to travel to Seoul, (well, Itaewon), and possibly Suwon, Cheonan and Incheon. So if you'd care to priovide me with some contact info, or tell me where you hang out I may be seeing you. I want nothing more than to spend some time with fellow english speaking people, having fun, conversing and maybe have some drinks, and food. I can find other Americans to hang out with but really would like a bit of a change. |

Congrats Redaxe. Out of 21 people to read this thread, you're the 1st to reply. I'm pretty surprised. I thought Canadians were a friendly bunch. |

Out of morbid curiosity, why is it that you're interested in hanging out with Canadians instead of Americans, Kiwis, Aussies, Brits, etc.? |

And I'm not even Canadian! I just know where they hang out.
Those places are all in Itaewon except for Beer O' Clock. Well, Aussie Shop is technically in Haebangchon I think, closer to Noksapyeong station than Itaewon station. It's obviously an Aussie place not a Canadian place though. RMT and Beer O' Clock are actually owned and operated by Canadians. |

Do you know how stupid your request is? "I need a change from my usual American friends, so im seeking Canadians." We read the same books, watch the same movies and tv shows, work the same jobs here, listen to the same music. Unless you have a great love for the intricacies of ice hockey, you quest is pointless. |

Oh, Kiwis, Brits, Aussies are all good as well. I should have just said "foreigners" but it didn't strike me until after I put in the post. As far as Americans go, I live and work with them and need a change of pace.

OK Conrad, because of your stupid post, you arent invited to the BBQ. If you know how to read, I was just looking for a change from the regular venue of American people and clubs and am looking for another place to hang out where I can still be comfortable. |

Jeden Mittwoch ist deutscher Stammtisch im 3 Alley Pub - wenn Du mal einen Wechsel vom englisch sprechen brauchst
Wir sprechen aber auch kanadisch ("He's a lumberjack and he's okay...") |
