I seem to have misplaced mine. I'm sure I could find one easily in bangkok when i get there but i'd like to have it at the ready now. Where's my best bet for looking?

namdaemun? itaewon?

If you're a guy, carry cash with a money clip. They're catching on in Korea and are harder for pickpockets to take.

I'm pretty sure I've seen them in my local Emart. Look for the sportswear / sports section and look through the daypack/waist(fanny) pack selection. Moneybelts are there, both the hanging off your shoulder and wrap around the waist styles.

Money clips are designed to hold 20-25 bills, making them a lot thinner in your pocket.

Harder than ordinary cash in pocket, right?
Not harder than a money belt.

I think a pickpocket in Korea would have an easy job, considering that it acceptable to brush into somebody.
