My co-teacher has given me a list of labels of school offices in Korean and she wants me to translate them into English.

I'm having a tough time trying to translate what each office does since I'm not that proficient in Korean, and I don't want to make any mistakes in labelling classrooms so I was wondering if you guys can help me out.

I translated it to the best of my ability but I'm still not confident as to whether it is correct or not.

교무실 - Principals Office
제1교무실 - 1st Teachers Office
제2교무실 - 2nd Teachers Office
행정실 - Office of Administration
생활지도부 - Discipline Department
자연과학부 - Science Department
예체육교육부 - Art and Physical Education Room
보건실 - Nurse's Office
가사실 - Cooking Room
기술실 - Engineering Room (?)
다목적실 - Multipurpose Room (I think my dictionary mistranslated this one?)
진로상담부 - Counseling and Career Advancement Department
상담실 - Counseling Office
전산실 - Computer Server Room (Or Main Server Room)? According to my co-teacher, its not a computer lab, it's where all the servers are stored.
영어교과실 - English Classroom
수학교과실 1, 2, 3 - Math Classroom 1, 2, 3
사회교과실 - Social Studies Room
인쇄실 - Printing Office
도움학습실 - Special Needs Classroom
교과실 + 자율학습실 - I'm not exactly sure what this is, my co-teacher said "it's the "Subject and Unsupervised Learning Room".

Thanks for your help everyone!

"생활지도부 - Discipline Department"

What is that? Confused

Students sometimes have detention, and maybe "Detention Room" might fit, but usually when students needed disciplining they would just be sent to the "office". General term and short.

Wow, I must have been missing out on this disciplinary office. Didn't know such a thing existed in the Korean education!

What did you use to translate? Usually I use http://translate.google.com if I need a translation. It's also helpful when my CT has gone missing and I need to communicate with the students in Korean.

Good list, but please use the apostrophe where it's needed!

I would disagree with 교무실 being the principal's office. That would be the 교장실. Maybe try "teachers' room" or something?

That one was recommended by one of the teachers in that room so an error on my part. I left it as Principals office.

For 교과실 + 자율학습실, I put down "Independent Study Room".

Thanks for all your suggestions everyone!

One of our offices is home to the discipline department. These are the teachers who beat the tar out of the kids. I was asked to be a part of it a couple years ago.

Used to be called 학생부.
The school I went as a student had room like an arsenal.
Inside were the sticks hung on the wall, end to end.
Some were worn down to thinness of chopsticks due to much usage.
