Anyone aware of a problem with the Pirate Bay torrent site? I try to search for 'recent torrents' but no links appear on screen. The same thing occurs if I look for a specific show - no links appear on screen. Anyone else come across this problem?

The only thing I noticed a couple of times, was that the comments wouldn't load. Some torrents had 2 or three pages of comments, because the page numbers were at the bottom.
But, when I tried to click on a page number, it just reloaded the page i was on and still no comments were shown.

I wonder if you cleared your cookies, if it might help.

I have the same problem on alll the computers I use here in Korea. The site may be dealing with legal issues or Korea is putting a stop to so much illegal downloading.

btjunkie.org is the one I've been using lately and for a public tracker it's great. For other stuff of course I use private sites like torrentleech and torrentbytes.

BTjunkie has soooo many dud movie torrents that have thousands of leechers. I never got a dud torrent from mininova, but you have to be really careful with btjunkie. I have had 700 mb files that are corrupted. And another one that cut out half way thru. And yes I have up to date codecs. Mad And yes I have up to date codecs.

Problem solved if you take the 30 seconds to read the comments posted by leechers who will say whether or not the file is a fake or not. When I do that I've had no problems. I haven't even thought of using pirate bay in years, especially after their legal problems, don't need to invite even the possibility of the MPAA catching my butt too.

How do you stop the MPAA from recording your IP address from torrents listed on BT Junkie? If your'e downloading, they can act as a another peer in the swarm, and they have been doing that for years.
Even your torrent client can't keep up with bad peer IPs fast enough to keep them out.

This is true. Often I just look at how many seeds there are. The duds I've got have been near the top of the seeds list. You would think that would be a good indication? I've been using Demonoid lately in any case.
