EDIT 3: WANTED to sell the car. Ending the sale, thanks to those who were interested.

1997 Hyundai Accent
86000 (ish) KM
Location : Gunsan si Jeolla buk do

Perfect car with the KM validated by the GU.
Taxes paid up in full with no tickets. Will have all the paperwork to prove it.

Has a Mappy navigation system that gives directions in English.
(very useful for the crazy side streets etc here)
Car has been perfect for me and the previous owner. Well maintained also. Leaving the country, and the school I worked for changed hands, so next job is suddenly up in the air.
Would be nice to keep it but safer to sell it when I dont have a set return date.

1.6 mil KRW (1,600,000) firm.

PM or post if interested
(yes this is the same car I bought a few months ago)
EDIT: Pictures http://www.flickr.com/photos/51792511@N03/
#2: Just noticed I forgot to mention this is an Automatic with power everything (even mirror)

You aren't getting that much mate. I payed 1.5 for the same year model, a year ago, with 100k on it. You MIGHT get 1.1 or 1.2, but good-luck selling something when you've priced it WAY to high.
OK, I just bought a new Nissan 350Z for 30k dollars, I'll sell it to you for 40.
Same thing mate, lower the price, you'll sell in a second.

If you think this is too high then take a look at anything else out there in the price range.

1.1 - 1.2 will generally get you a 195,000 km car thats beat up outside and in with oil leaks and other fun problems.
Or a Maitz insta coffin.

This aint no 똥차 (beater)

Base 1,000,000 + 40,000 km of trouble free range 300,000 + problem free now 100,000 + 200,000 Mappy Used price (7 in TFT touch with free updates)

With a car you can pay for a good one up front or keep paying for the POS you tried to save a few bucks on.
If no one wants it I'll find a way to store it, but its safer to not have to worry about it for 2 + months while I'm in the US.

You still aren't going to sell it at that price. My car wasn't a beater, it was the same age, larger, and came with a GPS for 1.5 guy. Honestly, just giving you advice, don't get mad at someone when they DO low ball you. Heck, don't get mad when you don't sell it.

OP, I have to agree. Lower the price and you will have some people interested. I sold my 98 Tiburon (great body cond. and new paint) that had 7 grand in mods for 1.5 last year upon realizing that it probably wasn't worth much more than that in the market.

I agree, 1.6 is a fair price.

Good luck with the sale.

Well there are fair prices, and then there are market prices. His price MAY be fair, but it isn't market. For more information, please watch Pawn Stars. It gives you an idea of what something is worth to someone who knows, not just what you think it's valued at.

This is the exact same car, there were multiple buyers interested.
Where was your grand wisdom back then?
Although in the past Wes may have caught some people from buying overpriced TVs this is a different case.

The facts: 1 year ago you bought a car for 100,000 less that had more miles and we have no idea how it was mechanically, physically, etc.
A few months ago I bought a car and now need to sell it due to changing circumstances.

You obviously read little of my posts as I said effectively: "I am selling this car ONLY because my school changed hands and I dont want the headache of worrying about it while I'm back home." If it doesnt sell, that's Ok.

I'm done. Buyers, if you are interested, you know what to do. Its a good car (better than the one he bought a year ago and only 100 bucks more. Oh wait, one year later its still better than the one he paid 1.5 mil for ... Problem?)

http://seoul.craigslist.co.kr/cta/

Listing of cars for sale in Korea on Craigslist too. I'm confident in my pricing. Look away. I know I did for a long time before I bought this car.
[you might have to refresh after you click the link, not sure if it will be up to date every day]

EDIT2: Dont mind the guy selling the same car a year older and more KMs + no Mappy for 300,000 less. Yeah my price is F'ed up....

Well then good luck not selling mate.
lol I love folks that don't take advice when given.
FYI My car died, tire popped, hit two side rails. Ended up looking very much like a German muscle car, with a smashed in front end.

Sorry to burst your bubbles HATERS!!! the car's tag is more than market-related... Good luck with the sale OP. if i didn't have a car already i'd jump on this bargain like flies on s**t... hehe...

just to prove my point since there may be ignoramuses on here:

1. http://global.encar.com/global/choose_yours/search_by_make_model.jsp?manufact=001&model=002&transmission=001&from=1997&to=2000&car_manufact=Hyundai&car_model=Accent&car_transmission=Automatic&pageNo=&wtClick_GlobalChoose=007

You get two cents, not a penny more. And quite honestly, 1.1 or 1.2 will see this thing out the door, quicker than a monkey eating a cracker.

yo Wes --- my parakeet always used to say that advice is only necessary in 2 situations:

1. when asked... and

2. if it's a life or death situation.

sorry bro! this case is neither.

also... dude!!! i saw some koreans eat some crackety cracks very very slowly... hehe... ok, so here's my effort to get an extra 3 cents outta you...

why not leave the OP alone man!!! let him sell his/her goods peacefully... without interference... fine... fair enough... you need to wear a superman cape and warn the world agains unfair posts...but consider these points my parakeet made:

1. the OP can ask whatever he wants and ultimately it's up to the buyer to finally take it or not take it based on their immediate need after weighing the odds.

and

2. if Minsu REALLY needs Joon's car, then no amount of Yapping Yapping, Phaffing Phaffing from Lisa will convince him from buying the car... wise parakeet that one.

do i get my 3 cents now?

Still two. And, as I said. My posting stands. Consider it easier to take it all in one gulp, than it not being sold in 3 months.
