2007 (mfg Nov. 2006) Daewoo Rezzo LPG, Diamond 9.5 million
40,500 km, Gray
Diamond Package (full options)- Sunroof, Antilock Brakes, Pleather Seats, Driver / Passenger/& Side Airbags (very hard to find!), MP3/CD/Cassette player
No accidents, can easily transfer the registration.
Has been thoroughly checked by a mechanic last monthbrake pads were replaced, needs no other work.
This is a great car for young families, or for anyone with friends to haul around. The seats are just the right level to load and unload your kids without bending. Seats up to 8, or fold down the back bench seat for extra luggage room.
If it is sold at the original asking price, I will include the navigation system (Large-screen Inavi System, cost over 500,000) for free.
Contact me by pm or on my celphone at 010-2474-2812.

Question about your Rezzo:
Did it come with the trunk seat, or is that something offered as an option. I bought a used Rezzo recently, and it didn't come with one. I had a feeling that it was pilfered by the used car shop. Won't need it anyway... just was curious. |

I think the back seat is usually standard--I've had 3 Rezzos, and they all had back seats.
The back seats are only good for kids or legless people, but we've found it useful on several occasions when we are going out with family. |

I believe it was around 20 million new. This one was made in November, about a month before they discontinued selling them in Korea. They are still sold worldwide under the Tacuma / Vivant names.
It's a great car--I think I'll try to find one back in Canada. |

Hmmm -- I really should stop posting stuff up here at 4 am...
I just realized that I wrote the wrong year up on my first post--it was manufactured in November 2006, not 2008. It is the 2007 model, which was the last one sold in Korea.
I'm rather embarrassed--sorry about that.
Looking at your link, bassexpander, I'm glad to see that my price is quite reasonable considering the options and lower mileage.
We're not leaving until mid-March, so I'm not in a big hurry to sell this car, although if I find the right buyer, I am willing to sell it right away, or at least once the 50 cm of snow that just dumped on our town is gone and it's once again safe to venture out of the garage! If there's no interest, come March I'll probably list it on encar. |

Bad weather really nixed my car sale, too. Once things cleared up this week, I was steadily getting 2 calls or more per day. This entire weekend would have been a no-go, as well as most of next week, due to the holiday. That's probably why we had such a flurry of calls this week.
You'll get dealers who want to buy it from you so they can re-sell it. They will first want you to drive way up to their shop in Nowon, Suwon, or Incheon. They may even tell you that they have a buyer. They just want to get you desperate and extended so they can negotiate you down. There are also some shady operations that want to take advantage of you, pay you half now, and maybe ship it illegally overseas. Encar has warnings up about those places. I just told everyone that if they wanted to see it, they'd have to come here. That took care of most of the riff-raff.
Some may come to your home claiming to be private buyers. They wanted to pay 1.8 for mine (and one said he'd re-sell it for 2.4 to 2.5). I'd imagine they'd want to make at least 800,000 off of a car like yours.
We had one goofy tire-kicker that poked and prodded everything on the car, told me my fluid levels were all wrong, and complained that I'd washed it before he came (my wife knew then he was a nut -- he actually suspected foul play because we'd CLEANED it). He was just looking for literally any excuse he could find to lower the price. He must have pulled the oil dipstick out 5 times, shook his head and did the classical ajosshi "click click" with his tongue, followed by teeth sucking. I then pulled it out myself and showed him it was exactly where it was supposed to be. Hell, Daewoo had just serviced it and the oil wasn't even black yet!
We weren't having any of it, and sent him on his way.
He had asked my wife several times to lower the price, and she just kept saying "no." She had even told him not to drive all of the way from Incheon if he expected to get a cheaper price, because we wouldn't budge.
I have a feeling you'll need to drop your price closer to 8 million before you get much interest, unfortunately. That's just my guess based on what's out there. |

I know how easy it is to get ripped off--my wife sold our last Rezzo on the spot to the local dealer we had bought it from at a very reasonable price 4 months earlier, with the promise that we'd make a profit trading it in for a Carens and a Matiz. A week and a half later, we realized that our car was gone and the other two cars that were "getting checked up" were never coming. The whole deal cost us about 25 million. The dealer is still serving his 3-year sentence for that...
We'll be a lot more careful this time around--no keys without cash!
The dealers we've checked with said that there aren't many cars around like ours, but they'd probably buy ours for 8 million and sell it for 10-10.5.
I'm a little flexible on the price (more so if the buyer can wait to buy it until after March 2nd), but then my in-laws get the navigation system. |
