Hey all,
My middle school is looking for two full-time teachers. You will be teaching English as well as Math, Science, Geography, etc. The co-teachers at my school are really nice, helpful, and understanding. If you have a teaching degree or a BA in Math or Science, you are in for sure. Teaching experience would help but my school is so desperate to get teahers that it might not matter. The job are available for the beginning of March!! So hurry up! You'll be teaching 22 hours a week and making 2.3 mill a month. They'll set you up with housing and pay for your flights. You will also get 3 weeks of paid vacation during both the summer and winter holidays if you want to make a trip home.

The job is located on a small island of the south coast of South Korea called Namhae. It is beautiful here! There is great hiking, camping, beaches, biking, sailing, and swimming. It's a great place for outdoor activities and to save some money. It's about a 2 hour bus ride from Busan if you need to escape to the city for the weekend.

Please contact me if you have any other questions, are interested, or know someone who is. [email protected]

Thanks,
Aja Dailey

beautiful bridge to the mainland, one hour bus to Jinju, five hours to Seoul for that once every couple of months weekend trip

Sangju beach on the south coast of the island I've been to several times each year for over half a decade, really nice

but the island isn't really "small", is the 3rd largest in Korea and takes a couple of hours to drive around; in fact, I took a place on the southern coast of the island last November then a week later changed my mind when i drove back and forth from the mainland a couple of times while moving in and realized how very far it would be for me to drive to the nearest city. the town on the island isn't on the coast though, is inland, so it doesn't even feel like one is on an island when one is in the small town, nor is it as far from other cities as the south coast of the island is

great island to visit, dunno about living there though, changed my mind after living on Geoje Island (which has a city and tons of ammenities within easy access), heading to Jeju Island instead

I'm not looking for an opinion on Namhae. I'm looking for someone who wants to teach here. It is the 3rd "largest" island in korea but compared to America, Canada, Australia, the UK, and New Zealand it is a small island. It takes me only an hour to drive around, which has amazing views from every side of the island. I have lived here for a year now and haven't found a better place in korea (and yes i've been to geoje and jeju). It's a great place to visit and a better place to live! For teachers who are interested in these positions please reply! If you want to teach no only English but other subjects as well, this is the perfect job. And it isn't through EPIK!! You'll be contracted through the school, which means that if you have a problem or need some help all you have to do is talk to your school.
