I've never been sick from drinking OJ back home, but I get the runs around 70% of the time I drink OJ in Korea. I'm wondering if the OJ here is pasteurized or maybe it became bad during transport?

Laughing Korean industry taking precautions to reduce the number of viable pathogens so they are unlikely to cause disease? doubt it.

Safety isn't as much a value here as back home, in soooo many ways. It's a cultural thing.

Thanks for saying it for me.

OP, as with back home, check the ingredients, make sure it's 100% orange juice from concentrate...

I've tried numerous varieties of OJ here and never had any trouble with them.

I'm drinking it just fine, but don't like paying double to triple money for juice.

Look around. I often get one of the Jeju brands on sale, around 1500W for 1.5L.

I always buy Tropicana OJ at Costco. 2 cartons of it for about 7,000. Much better than the Korean stuff they call 'orange juice'.
