I had a TaLK interview last Friday. Because the term starts very soon (beginning of March) it conspires that I have to submit my documentation prior to them giving me confirmation of my acceptance. I am having my transcripts FedEx to me.

The thing is the lady at the interview wanted to open them before me going for the visa. She knew very little about the process in general, she was very young and Korean American. But if she does this will they still be valid when I go for the visa as they will no longer be sealed? I asked her to look into it.

Also there is a chance I may get rejected (for other mitigating reasons) so could I use these same transcripts again for another application?

The transcripts are for immigration not for your potential boss. If they open them, they will not be able to be used at immigration. Send her either a scanned copy or another unsealed copy of your transcripts if they are really that interested.

You cannot reuse sealed transcripts once they have been opened.
