Alright lads,
Just got a TV in my apartment this week and am wondering what channel the champions league is usually on. I don't have a cable box (even though I asked for cable ). I assume I just have the basic channels which consists of about 100 channels of crap. The only sports channel I have appears to be mbc epsn which at the minute is showing some kind of crappy boxing intertwined with some kind of game show. So im not even sure if its a proper sports channel. Anyway I'm thinking the outlook isn't good for the champions league being on any of the standard channels ?
Thanks in advance, |

sbs sports might be your best bet.....might be channel 73 if you're on the same package as me. it seems to be the channel that has the football rights this year |

MBCESPN is the right channel. They just tend to show non-sports-related crap during the day sometimes.
According to their website, Utd vs Milan is on at 4.30.
Straight after that, they're showing Lyon vs Madrid, which i presume is a time-delayed replay.
Utd - Milan is on again at 11am and the Lyon game is on again at 4pm.
On Thursday morning they have Porto vs Arsenal at 4.30 and Bayern vs Fiorentina right after.
Website is www.mbcespn.com.
There's no English version that I know of, and it tends to load better in IE, but for simple stuff, Firefox should display it ok.
I dunno if SBS shows Champs league, but they are the better bet for Premier League on a Saturday night, along with Star Sports.
Depending on your package, you might not have either of them though.
If you're here for a while, consider getting Skylife HD for around 18K a month, less if you get it together with your internet or home phone as a package. |

Yes, MBCEspn will be showing UEFA Champs League games, but you need SBS Sports (SBS Sports, not just SBS) to watch Premiership games. If you don't already have that channel, i'm sure that you can get it through your curent cable company. Bother your manager if it seems difficult. |
