What's the typical fee/percentage that you pay to the real estate agent when you rent a place?

I think around 400,000 is typical.

I can't remember what I paid, but it wasn't that much. Mine was closer to 300,000 Won.

There's a formula the budongsan goes by that the government mandated.

I don't remember the details. I think it takes into account the size of the apartment + deposit + monthly payments. All that gets gets inputted and the fee is calculated.
