Upon arrival in Korea six months ago, one of the first things I noticed (other than the obvious) was the amazingly cute style that Korean women my age have. I am totally in love and obsessed with Korean fashion and clothing now. Being poor, most of my clothing this year will probably come off the street or at the subway stations. However, there are a couple brands I've seen online that have really caught my eye.

Sechuna (Sechuna.com) is a little young for me. But there are still a few wear-worthy items in the bunch.

I have become completely and irritably (according to my husband) fixated on Lemon Cookie (Lemoncookie.com). Korean and Asian clothing is often chastised as being too girly or feminine, but I think this brand has some sweet retro teddygirl (old school tomboy) type stuff as well. The shoes range from truly horrendous to truly outrageous. That is to say, there are some real gems to be found.

Unfortunately, I can't buy anything off websites because 1. I feel unsure of sizing and 2. I'm not Korean.

I would like to know what other Korean brands you ladies are liking. Also, does anyone know of any shops that stock Lemon Cookie clothes or shoes?

Also, I tried my first BB cream this weekend. It's the Precious Mineral kind (#2 Sheer Glowing Skin) from Etude House (www.etude.co.kr/). I'm liking it so far. The coverage is fairly light as it's more of a tinted moisturizer. It does give my skin a dewy look which I'm digging for this cooler weather. I am disappointed to note that it does contain arbutin which, I found out after purchase, is a skin whitener. Most sites say the arbutin used in cosmetics isn't super effective, but it is a downside. The freebies here are great, though. So another bonus!
This is my first Etude House purchase. The cost seems appropriate for the product. How do the other items compare in terms of colors, cost, quality, etc?
What other Korean cosmetics are good to use? Any product lines you're looking forward to?
I never know how to end posts so I will try with a period.

PS. I recommend typing those above URLs into Google so you can use the translator for what it's worth.

I am a very fair blonde, so Korean makeup colors are often a little too bright for me, but Skin Food has great products.
