Hi,
I have several years experience teaching ESL in Japan and I am thinking of going to Korea with some friends. In Japan, I worked as a kind of English Contractor, how it worked was I was employed by an agency and they contracted me hourly to companies like Mitsubishi to teach business guys, do level assessments and so on for an hourly rate (Kind of like GABA in Japan but it payed better, for thoose familiar). As well they would offer me term contracts for schools, unis and so on which I could take or leave.
I liked this job, I travelled around Japan and it allowed me to pick and choose the places I worked with a flexible calendar. There were no office hours and as long as I submitted my weekly reports no one bothered me. Looking at the forums and a couple other sites I don't really see this in Korea. Does it exist? Where would I look for this? Any advice or links similar kinds of jobs you can offer are appreciated.
Thanks |

They seems to have more of the unconventional ESL jobs (and even stuff altogether outside of ESL) compared to other Korean ESL job boards/recruiter sites. |

I'm thinking this would violate Korea's visa regulations although some employers farm out their teachers all the time.
