I have a student who will be going to a university entrance interview next week.
She said the interview will have a lot of questions in English and she wants me to help her prepare for the English section of the interview.
If you know about this interview, what kind of questions are asked?
I really want her to pass the test
Many thanks for your responses!! |

Whay do you want to attend this university?
Describe yourself with just three words.
What accomplishments are you most proud of?
How do you visualize your future?
What is your strongest/weakest point?
These seems to be the most generic questions.
Instead, I'd coach her on interview technique.
How will she dress? Hair/Makeup/
How will she answer? Positively/Critically/objectively/
Be herself or project an image
Some said: treat it like going to a date. |

Thanks both of you!
Turns out that before she came to my class I was told she would be doing an interview.
When she came to my class she told me no she will be doing a Toefl speaking test at the uni.
Luckily I have taught Toefl to many students so classes will not be a problem.
Thanks anyway! |

TOEFL speaking: Describe the picture. I advise them to use as many tenses as possible and as much vocab as possible. "
Give directions: When you see X, turn right. Make sure she knows things like "Stay on the right side of the street."
I know there are more topics, but I can't remember them right now... |
