Oddly enough, no thread on this topic, according to Dave's search!

I'm just wondering which is better. I've been with a program similar to GEPIK, not EPIK, but the Gunpo City one. It was great.

But with SMOE, it seems like I am not told anything... I have no idea where I'll be working, living, what kind of apartment I'm in... nothin! Don't find out until after orientation I heard... what's with that?

Anyways, whatcha think people? How do SMOE and GEPIK compare?

haven't worked for smoe, but i'd bet a lot of money that the answer would be:

- better/easier working conditions in gepik, plus higher pay..200K a month higher.. that's significant.

- the biggest reason people want to work for smoe is to be IN Seoul. I don't think anyone is a fan of working 3 week camps each vacation, pressure on vacation time and the other assorted nonsense that comes with a SMOE gig. The only person I've ever read here who likes their smoe job is Ukon.
