I'm about to head over to Korea, and I was wondering if apartment rooftops were readily accessible. I practice martial arts, and have noticed that apartment rooftops would be a perfect place for an interrupted and open space to practice. |

most are open. take the elevator to the top floor and there is the stairwell to access the roof. Sometimes the security guards lock them up due to trash being left around. Ask them to open it and they will more than likely tell you no. No worries head to the next building over. good luck on your rooftop access. |

Depends...I do lot of rooftop photography....it's been about 35% open(including very large buildings).
Also some malls have rooftop garden areas nobody uses except for smoking breaks...
Residential buildings aside from your own may sometimes have key locks at the door....some big ones don't....
Watch out for Security cameras! They got them everywhere, but it's very unlikely anybody will come out...or even watch them in smaller buildings. |
