Just wondering if Bohol during August is sweet for just finding accomodation when we get there? |

I assume you meant down on Panglao island (Alona beach).
You'll be fine unless you want to assure yourself of a specific room (like bungalow #2 at Alona tropical).
If you just need a room on the beach there will be lots to choose from.

Agreed. it's low season. It shouldn't be a problem.
You may even get a better deal showing up there. |

Do either of you have an idea about the weather. Does it rain all day or just for a short period in August? |

I heard rumblings of El Nino this year. It throws normal weather patterns out of loop.

UP to now there has been a definite change in the weather pattern and we have NOT had much rain this year.
When the rain has been occurring is in the late afternoon and early evening (thunder showers).
In the last month there has only been 2 days of what anyone would call real rain with 1 or 2 showers per week in the late after noons.
