In the past 40 years since I received my BS my original diploma has been lost. I do have my original Masters diploma. Will that be sufficient to satisfy the degree requirements for all of my paperwork to teach in Korea?

in a nutshell.... no.

Immigration will want to see both the original Bachelors degree (or a newly issued university replacement) AND official transcripts from said university before they will issue a visa.

Sorry to contradict Ttompatz but yes it will be sufficient to be issued an E2 visa, I have a Master degree, but no Bachelor degree and I have been issued 3 E2 visas and an E7 with permission to do E2 activities.

The requirement for an E2 that you hold a Bachelor degree or higher Source: http://www.hikorea.go.kr

EPIK will not accept applicants without a bachelors degree but immigration will.

I'd kinda like to know that, too. I'm familiar with PhD, and no Ma/sc etc, but never no BA but an MA.

I have used my Masters degree and not my BA degree to get my visa. You just need to have the transcripts match. Cannot give Masters diploma and BA transcripts obviously.

I ran out of BA transcripts last time and had plenty of MA transcripts, so I used my MA diploma and transcripts. Immigration didn't have a problem.

Gaelyn, I think that you probably should just write your University and have them order a new diploma. I have received replacements.

I think that not having your BA diploma is the least of your problems if you are 60+. Good luck teaching in Korea.

You can read for a master's degree in Europe if you have enough relevant work experience without a B.A.

In Australia if you have relavent work experience you can be provisionally enrolled in a Graduate Certificate. Should you pass these subjects you are free to complete the masters.

It's not an easy way to go and I now wish I had done a bachelor degree first, as it would have made doing the master degree much easier (and I could get one of those cushy uni gigs).

I have just started my Juris Doctor but I think that will be the end of my studies.

ASk your uni if you can get a new one. I lost mine in a move, paid 20 dollars and got a new one, only to find the first when I moved again.
