Hi,
I'm in a bit of a rush to get my Alien Registration Card, as I want to go to Japan on the 6th March. Last time my employer sorted everything, but this time I would like to do it myself so I can hopefully speed up the process by a day or two.
My questions are:
1. Where is the Immigration Office that deals with the issuance of Alien Registration Cards?
2. What exact documents do I need to take with me?
3. Will they give me a specific date when I can go and pick it up? This would enable me to book my flight to Japan...

1) YOUR LOCAL immigration office is the one who issues your card. Which one it is will depend specifically on your place of residence.
2) Proof of employment (from your boss)
proof of sponsorship (from your boss)
copy of the school's registration
your passport
two (2) passport sized photos
application
10k won
3) yes, or for 5k-7k won they will deliver it to you the same date as your pickup date (save you going back into the office). |
