Have you ever worked for any employers(hagwon) who actually honored what's written in the contract? If so, could you share the name of the school with me?
It seems so difficult to find a honest employer.

I always love these "all koren hagwons are criminal" baiting questions.

Like this question needs to be asked and confirmed with schools to actually suggest that there are honorable bosses out there.

My old hogwan, GDA Junior Seocho, honoured everything in the contract. I've never heard any complaints from anyone else I worked with there either.

Many employers do.

Sadly you will not hear this online because people who are in good jobs (many, many of these by the way) do not feel the urge to discuss it in an online forum...hence the warping effect of forums.

I prefer not to publicize the name of my school.

A good job is one where the owner doesnt steal money from you? Pretty low standards. "Can you believe it? I have a wonderful job. The boss doesnt try to rip me off and he even abides by the contract."

Sadly, this is not to be automatically expected.

Homer is true. Many abide by their contracts. But enough don't that we must be wary and always aware of our rights.

Not what I said at all conrad but I was expecting such a dumb reply.

Oh well, it takes all kinds.
