Hello all,

Today, a Korean friend of mine approached me regarding English lessons. Gah-

I explained that, though I could not accept money in return for English instruction, I might be able to trade English for Korean. He was excited about the prospect, so we agreed to research laws regarding this sort of language exchange.

My co-workers have assured me that this sort of scenario is perfectly legal, but I wanted to run it by veterans before proceeding. I do not want any complications, and I am sure my friend would understand if I had to turn him down.

Please feel free to respond regardless of tenure in Korea, though, if it matters, I myself have only been here since September. Flames and advice alike are welcome, though in the case of the former it is preferrable they be witty.
