OAKLAND (CBS) -- Kevin Smith says he's "way fat," but that shouldn't stop him from flying.
The director and actor says a pilot ejected him from a Southwest Airlines flight from Oakland to Burbank, Calif., saying he didn't fit properly in a single seat.
Smith raised a stink about the incident on his Twitter account Sunday, saying: Dear @SouthwestAir - I know I'm fat, but was Captain Leysath (sic) really justified in throwing me off a flight for which I was already seated?
He posted a picture of himself sitting on the plane with his cheeks puffed out.
Smith later tweeted that he was allowed to board another Southwest flight without a problem: Dear @SouthwestAir, I'm on another one of your planes, safely seated & buckled-in again, waiting to be dragged off in front of the normies. ... And, hey? @SouthwestAir? I didn't even need a seat belt extender to buckle up. Somehow, that **** fit over my "safety concern"-creating gut.
