My friend wants me to buy few items from Korea and ship it to States. I was wondering if the items will be seized or does my friend need to pay duties? I'm just sending few DVD's and 2 purses. |

Depends on the value and if customs will stop it. Most likely not. If the dvds are opened and the purses are used, then there is no issue. |

I actually took a illegal copy of a DVD back to the US with me and got my entire suitcase checked by customs and they did nothing. It could have been because it was Rocky Balboa. DOH! |

The last time I checked, the value has to be over $1,000 to pay a duty in the U.S. I wouldn't worry about what you're planning to send. |
