Im coming from Canada...I will be traveling with my blackberry... I was wondering if anyone knew if I could continue using my blackberry while i was in Korea.
Do they use sim cards like we do?

I don't think Korea only uses WCDMA, because iphones which are sold in korea are set to use either UMTS/HSDPA and GSM, and they work fine. Also, iphones do in fact use sim cards, so i imagine there would be other phones in korea which do also (plus blackberry's are available from SK telecom). |

Pay 300,000 to the KCC to get your blackberry "certified" to use in Korea.
As to whether or not you can use your email and other things, you will have to ask RIM since they control all that mess.
I think the only network you can use is SK Telecom, since they are the ones that currently offer a blackberry model. |
