What did you take the second time around that you did not take the first time? What did you leave out?

This time around, I will try to bring my cat and several appliances that I don't want to buy again. It's cheaper to use what I already have and the secondhand rose shop on the army post has baskets full of cheap adaptors. Plus, I'm not counting on my school to have good resource books, so I'm collecting an assortment of educational books and games.

You're going to fly appliances here? Do you know how much luggage costs are these days?

I don't mean a stove or anything like that, just beauty stuff, a coffee grinder, and perhaps my electric tea kettle.

We've been back for two months and the only thing besides new clothes we're taking back is a Magic Bullet and a few lightweight items to make our place feel a little more like home. Like I posted on another thread, Delta is charging $150 per bag for going overweight, and we're going to be using every free lb. I imagine.

I just finished packing for my second year. I am bringing way fewer toiletries (items like shampoo, soap, toothpaste) because I know I can buy everything I need in Korea.

My entire luggage is almost all clothing, shoes, and books. I went crazy buying clothes back here in Canada, though I don't know why because I have no trouble buying clothes or shoes in Korea...I just like shopping...haha.

Also am packing some extra makeup (I find Korean foundation/powder doesn't really match my skin tone), lots of deodorant (which I can get pretty easily in Korea too, but it's cheaper here), and some spices.

I left a whole suitcase in Korea with stuff I knew I wouldn't need back home. I can't even remember what's in it. Now I just hope my apartment will have enough storage space for 3 huge suitcases.

I'm at home now and most of my stuff is in Korea, so I can fill up my suitcase with all the goodies.
