Has anyone tried to mail prescription or non-prescription drugs to Korea? I'm wondering if it is even possible, and if so, how much customs might confiscate or charge me.

Would greatly appreciate any feedback...

Have a lovely day.

I've had non-prescription and herbal medicines sent from the UK and from the US. I've never had any problems. Not too sure about prescription stuff though.

I have both sent to me on a monthly basis and I've never had any problems, though you might if you're mailing controlled substances.

When I first arrived in 07 they got through. (controlled, yet prescribed). Ma made the mistake of marking them as medicine, and that was it. Send then cheapest way and DO NOT label as meds! Otherwise, they get sent back.

I also have prescription pills sent to me regularly.

To be safe, the sender should enclose the Doctor's prescription note in with the meds.

ok but if you don't label them as meds what do you label them as? i would assume if you said something like "batteries" and they get x-rayed and they see pills they will also get sent back.
