Just wondering.
While I was living down south I always went to the same shop.
36 exposures would run me 5600 won.
I just took some rolls in to the photoshop in my new hood and the cost was 8300 won for 36.
Bit of a price jump!

Just wondering.
Is the price for film development higher near Seoul or did I just get screwed?

Also has anyone had their prints put on CD?
How much was it?

I pay 6000 won for it here in the South. Everywhere it is basically the same.
Why would it be higher in Seoul????

For four years down south I kept hearing from Korean friends and students that everything is more expensive in Seoul.
I thought, perhaps, that film development was the one thing that is.

Guess I just got screwed.

TOO MUCH.

It's one of the few things I find more expensive in Korea. I pay nearly ten thou here on an island, actually double that, because I keep asking for two copies because back home second prints are only a buck more.

I'm planning to go digital once those new 2 mil. pixel camera/phone/MP3 's come out this summer.

I live in a small city in the central area now, but I used to live in Seoul. The price of film developing here was a pleasant surprise. I think a lot depends on which shop you go to though, as some shops are expensive here as well.

I got a disposable camera film developed in Suwon today.
It took 2 hours, I think was a 27 shot camera and cost 6400 won.

I found on visiting Seoul that getting film developed was far more expensive than when I lived in Ulsan. Average cost for 36 exposures was approx 6000, Seoul was generally between 8-9000 and only for a 5x4, not a 6x4. I also received an index sheet for the 6000. Smile

Don't some the of chains help you download your digicam shots?

Since I don't have a working computer, how much would this cost?

Do they copy the stored images to a disk or CD-Rom?

There was a huge price jump from Kyeyang Gu to Seoul and the quality isn't nearly as good as the cheaper guy.

Yeah, I noticed a price increase (& quality decrease) comming from Incheon to Seoul too. But what was *really* odd was that this was between two stores of the SAME CHAIN (ie. Grand Mart). Go figure.

Footnote - Never EVER process your photos at Grand Mart. They really do make horrible prints. Mad
