|
|
i've tried using the search facility but to no avail, as it keeps timing out and doesn't display anything, apologies if this is easily found.
i'm halfway through getting the stone tablets that comprise an E2 visa carved and completed, and am looking at jobs. i've been offered some, and am beginning to whittle them down to ones i'm serious about.
i've done my own research, but the internet can only tell you so much; i need eyes and ears on the ground [perhaps literally]. has anyone got any views into districts of seoul that are 'decent'?
i understand it's all relative, but whats good for you is probably somewhat good for me, unless you're into weird things or something.
i wouldn't mind living and working in relatively the same area, and so i need somewhere thats cheap, has a subway line, but isn't too far from the action in terms of carrefours/amenities/partying etc. i live in west london and thats about 10 stops, 30 minutes from central. anything like that is ideal to be honest..
i'm looking at gangnam/hongdae, but then i suppose everyone else is too. having never been, i simply don't know.
any constructive input would be very much appreciated. |

okay, does anyone have anything to tell me about the following;
jeongdong-gu
mapo-gu
dongjak-gu
yeongdeungpo-gu
seodaemun-gu
all seem pretty good for what i want out of an area - pretty close to local markets, near enough to nightlife..basically i just wouldn't mind living in a place where i wouldn't have to take a cab for 50 minutes home every weekend from where i'll be going out..which is wherever the decent clubs are i guess.. |
