Hello all,
I have recently come back to South Korea several months after finishing work for a Hagwon on an E2 visa. I have all my documents required for a new E2 visa (Criminal record with apostle, transcripts, original degree etc).
My question is, should I be fine getting a job and doing the visa run to Japan? I have read a few different remarks about E2 having to be issued from your home country? Obviously my E2 ran out a while ago and I am currently in Korea on a tourist visa (For the second time since my E2 ran out). Would this be a problem?
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks and regards |

As long as you do not have any negative reports (previous violations of any kind) at immigration you are fine with a visa run. |
