My name is Michael and I will be coming into South Korea next week. My goal is to find a teaching contract that lasts for 6 months instead of 12. I heard these are hard to find because schools do not want to invest the money for just 6 months. However, I will be paying my own way over and possibly will have housing which are costs that the school will not have to pay. With that said does anybody know any schools that are more likely to give out 6 month contracts or are willing to talk to teachers who are already in South Korea and looking for work. |

Michael,
If you don't mind sharing, is there a reason you only want 6 months in Daegu? All I can think of right now is applying through at least three or four posts online (on this site or through some reputable recruiters). Check Craigslist too. I've seen some opportunities on there. Apply, tell them exactly what your looking for and maybe something will happen soon. I hope you find what your looking for! Good luck!
