Can you extend a C4 visa?

I am in kind of a bind. Anyone know if I can get a C4 visa extension or just an extension of any kind without leaving the country?
I have already been here three months with the C4 and currently waiting on paperwork for a new job. Any info would be helpful.. Thanks
