Hi,
I was thinking about getting ready for the EPIK opening in April, but I don't know much about some of the other ways to get in for a recent grad.
I know of Aclipse, ESL Park, and some others.
What paths are there? |

Aclipse is good. Any recruiter will most likely get you the right contacts. I went through ReachToTeach. But there are so many places you can go through. Just apply, you'll have emails in no time, asking to set up interviews and turn in documents. I only applied through one agency months before I graduated in May '09. I've been here for 6 months. You could also post your resume on this site/check the job offers for those with e-2 Visa status.
If you have any other questions feel free to email me at [email protected] and check out my blog on living and teaching in Gwangju. Have a good one!

they're a little dated but a majority of the information you'll need will be in the stickies posted up top.
The things I would research first are:
1) When do you want to come
2) Where do you want to live
3) Do you want private or public
Everything else will fall into place after that... |

Public school job team teaching. In some schools you'll just be a human tape recorder for the textbook in other schools you'll actually be expected to make your own lessons. If the Korean teachers asks you to teach 45 students alone you have the right to refuse. |
