A friend teaches at 5 different rural PS. He's making 100K/month per school totalling 500K. It's called additional school allowance.

Wow, sweet gig. My contract says 100K for the first extra school. 150K total for more than two. He better watch out. SOmeone might be mis-reading the contract, and the school might ask for all that money back.

I work at two schools, but they are right next door to each other. One is the girls' school, one is the boys'. Pretty un-inconvenient for an extra 10 sejongs a month.

Senior r u working in a city or in a rural area?

Ramen, 5 schools? that's crazy..i wonder how many winter/summer camps he has to do?

the school wants me to do 3 schools in a week which i thought was a bit much with no travel allowance...do you get travel allowace?
they are offering 2.5mil/month for this no other extra pay for rural or anything like that but i guess the 2.5 includes both the rural, provincial and multiple school allowance? seem though, the pay should be higher if u have a base of 2.2 plus all of these extra additions...

He does one week of winter/summer camp with his main school. One of his problem is that 3 principals are awesome and 2 principals are nazis.

i would imagine it being hard having to work with 5 different principals...some can be really annoying whereas others can be totally cool. i guess it depends on your lucky. at least your friend gets 3/5 good for him!

thanks guys for your answers.i think i'm gonna think twice about this.
