What the hell? I tuned in to watch the USA v Canadia Ice hockey match, and what did I see? A Canada team appearing to want to emulate that great Canadia squad of the last Olympics! LOSERS!
I wanted to see red on white! Yankee blood on ice. I saw a lot of red though, and it wasn't the pools of gore on the floor that I'd been hoping for! No, it was the color of the faces of the Canadia players and fans as they slunk off to their globally warming seal clubbing igloos. 3-5 EMBARRASSING!
Now, I don't know anything about Ice-Hockey. I'm not a pucking Penguin. As far as I'm concerned, ice is best when it's in malt whiskey, not laid down in an arena so some chubby toothless guys can skate around playing with their sticks. However, I expected more from my Northern cousins!
So, I am calling for Hockey Canadia to reintroduce Marty McSorley as player coach! He's got what you guys need. The fear factor! That unexpected "thing" which will keep the opposition looking around not knowing if they're going to get a stick in the back of the head, or up the date!
I've written to Paul Martin, no, Kim Cambell, no, oh, that's right, the "Whale Hunter" Stephen "Harpoon" Harper pleading with him to do as I ask. I don't want to see you boys fail again! REMEMBER TURIN!
