E-2 Visa After arrival in Korea?

I hate the idea of not being able to "scope" out my employer/talking face to face before making a decision.

Is it at all possible to secure employment from within Korea and then obtain the visa?

I have all documents:

diploma
background check
passport
etc.

Thanks for any info!

No chance. You will have to leave the country. I was in your situation, lost the visa/passport and even though I had been assigned to my school, been to my school had everything approved.

They insisted on cancelling my visa despite everything else being A-ok and had to do a visa run to Japan. Even though I had just done everything before the same a month ago.

Looking forward to going home and dealing with much more reasonable bureacracies
