Today I received an unusually large tax refund in my pay check. Not that I'm complaining, but it seems rather odd and I have never heard of such a refund in the middle of a contract. Is this normal? My secretary struggled to explain why but he says it's coming from a combination of income, pension, and medical. Supposedly the "foreign laborer exemption" or something like that. I have no reason to doubt my employer but it does seem odd and I was wondering if I should be concerned. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks!
