In general the wonderland schools have a bad reputation. However wonderland is a franchise school, so a lot of it comes down to the individual owner. If you are considering this school, please get references of teachers there. If they can't provide them/or the references don't sound happy then don't take the job. There are plenty of other jobs out there.

Yes, I am after comments re the Siji branch specifically. I know there are a lot of bad feelings towards the Wonderland franchise in general (and by all accounts rightly so), but how about recent experience of this one alone...?

have you tried the The Korea Job Information Journal and contacting the teachers?

I can't believe I am saying this but I know a guy who works at a Wonderland in Bucheon and he is happy there. Said the director is fair and he owns a couple of other hagwons and is quite fair. Been paid on time, no Sat classes etc.

Big problem he had was a psychotic co-worker but that seems it to him. In fact he may renew unless he can find a public school or a univ position come Aug.

Other than that, there are numerous stories about numerous Wonderlands that have unbelievable reps.

Bottom line and this applies anywhere. check the Job info Journal here, email or preferrablly call and/or visit teachers there and go on that
