This is a post to inform all foreign English teachers about Korean English intern teachers. These people are helpers. They are not part of the KTU. They are here to help the foreign teachers with discipline and translation in the classroom. They don't have any authority over you, you have authority over them. If you get a chance to work with one you have to tell them specifically what you want them to do on the first day. Don't assume they have any idea what to do. Also don't assume your regular co-teachers have given them any clear specific advice about what they need to do in class. |

I wondered about those intern teachers. I switched schools back in September and a new foreign teacher and a Korea Intern teacher were coming in. Wondered what the intern was supposed to do... |

Basically the same as a regular co-teacher.
Translate and discipline. |
