Is it possible for a person to ask the public school they work at to let them switch apt's between contracts?? If so, could I have a say in the where abouts of my new place? My current place is impossible to get warm, and the heat is too expensive... I have a lofted place, but I'd rather have a smaller place thats easier to heat to be honest...
Thanks. |

Sure you can. Just ask your co-teacher about it. I'm shifting into a new place next week. |

Yea. I went house hunting and looked at a heap of places in my price range. I wanted a villa, not an apt (I couldn't afford one in my area anyway). My GF and I cycled around the neighborhood I wanted to live in. There were dozens of options. In the end I went with another place the school board had already leased, (the current teacher was moving out just as I was moving in). So, I had a say, but went with a school provided place anyway. |

I did this when I renewed as a stipulation for renewing. My old place was great but it had a terrible view. I took care of moving expenses (hiring the Porter truck for 50,000 won) and was moved within a day. Now I'm super happy on the 8th floor with a river view! |
