Me too,
Although I must the feedback I have had i s a little mixed. Some people saying its pleasent enough and others sayign that its a no go.
If you are in Korea it might be worthwhile to try and check it out personally.
Which Branch are you going for? Seoul? Busan? anywhere?
Here is the link to the thread I started

I am going to Seoul... It's seemed legit so far. I wanted to check it out while I was in Korea but they never responded when I asked to have a personal meeting with the director... I though maybe he was too busy, though that could be a bad sign itself I guess. |

Well if there is a specific school that you want to go to then you should make sure that it is ruin by the company and not just a franchisee.
The ECC school i am applying to is company own by YBM, I spoke to the HR person this morning in Seoul (Andrew Han) and he said the company schools will definately pay you on time and keep holidays and contractual obligations as is their company policy. However he cannot vouch for them.
Best of luck any chief
If I find out any more info in the next little while I'll post it up here for ya. |

The HR guys are only going to make general guarantees re: pay, etc. You need to get in touch with a branch supervisor to get more specifics about hours, housing, etc. Approach ECC like any other job in Korea. Talk to staff, especially the foreigners, at any place you're considering. While there are plenty who've had good experiences with ECC, like me, there are plenty who haven't. Do your homework. |
