I'd like to know the price of hiring a moving truck and the montly rates for public storage (if there is such a thing here).

I am planning on moving to a permanent place by Jan. or Feb., but heard it may be more cost effective to move into an apt. now instead of later and skip the storage fees and renting a moving truck twice.

You can rent a moving truck that comes with a guy to help carry stuff or you can hire a moving company who will come and pack as well as do all the lifting, carrying and driving. Which are you thinking about?

I'll be doing all the packing myself, just need to get the stuff out of the apt. and from point A to point B.
