I've recently come across a PDF file of an out-of-print book. I've been trying to find information about any commercial printers in Korea that would be able to print the pages and bind them into a book. I guess the closest comparison I can think of would be the company Kinko's (US).
I would just use my ebook reader (Iriver Story), but due to the PDFs formatting and use of graphics, most ebook readers are unable to view it properly. I also don't particularly enjoy reading books from an LCD screen either. Having a physical bound copy of it would be the best option.
So any help would be appreciated. Has anyone ever used a service like this in Korea? What is the English --> Korean translated expression for this type of business? |

Wow! I never even knew that Kinko's had such a strong presence here - Thanks for the links.
The only thing I'm concerned about is that back in the US, Kinko's would never print and bind copyrighted materials. I highly doubt that an employee at a Korean Kinko's would even care about English materials, so I'll give it a try anyway.
If that doesn't work, does anyone else know of any other business like this? Especially non-corporate businesses, since they would probably have no qualms about reprinting copyrighted materials. |
