This might sound like a far-fetched post here, but as someone interested in possible going to Korea for some teaching, I would really like to know the steps in how you did it.

To be honest, I wish there was some hand guide or guidebook out there that I could read to know the steps I need to take. This website is a great resource for technical information (sometimes) but it's so difficult to organize all the information.

Anyhow, could it be that perhaps someone already wrote a basic guide?

Either way, if you have time and want to help out a noob such as myself, can you summarize in a couple of steps what process you did to get yourself in Korean?

I imagine it will be something like this:

1. Signed Contract

2. Got Visa

3. Flew to Korea

4...

Anyhow, I don't know, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Exactly.....

OP ask yourself...since you refuse or did not bother to do basic research on this site or on other sites....why would anyone put in the effort to do it for you?

Come on now...read the FAQs here or find the veritable legion of other sites that deal with working in Korea. Most of them have that checklist you seek....
