Can anyone provide the Official National Red Letter Days for 2010/11?

- 5 May
- 21 May
- 6 June
- 15 August
- 22-23 September
- 3 October
- 25 Dec (xmas day)
- 1 Jan New Years Day
- 14 Feb

- I dread to ask about holidays so soon. My new co-teachers are spinning - nothing is ready around here, not even my classroom (no chalk/W/B etc).
Thanks for your help.

2010 is not good for legal holidays.

May 5 (Childrens Day) is a wednesday off.
May 21 (Buddha's b'day) is a friday.
Next & only other weekday holiday is sept 21/22/23 (Chuseok) tue/wed/thu.

Better than 2009 where everything fell on a Saturday or Sunday.

Can teachers expect to receive Monday and Friday off in addition to Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for Chuseok? I remember some students last year complaining that Chuseok is usually for about eight days, but last year we only received one day off since it was over a weekend. I work in a public school, if that makes any difference.

I heard some schools will have the week off and some will not. Just have to wait and see. My fingers are crossed.
