I am asking on the behalf of my significant other. She is using Yasmin 28 but needs to know if it's available in Korea, and if so where.
I found other BC and even OTC BC pills but she wants to stick with the same exact pills. Is this possible?
Thanks |

The most common pill here is called Minibora, a transliteration of Minivlar. Here's it's product page, she should compare the dosage to what she taking now. They're quite cheap from what I'm told. http://www.druginfo.co.kr/detail/product.aspx?pid=32180
As for your primary question, dunno, sorry. I'd be a little skeptical. |

I don't know what the -28 part is about (number of pills?) but you can get Yasmin here.
I was told at first that you could get it over the counter. Well, maybe I'm just in a small town but I went everywhere and could not get it. Checked on the net and saw that Yasmin is possible to get in Korea....
Went to a doctor to get a prescription. The doctor had never heard of it and told me it wasn't available in Korea. My husband made him do a search of it and he finally found it. Gave me a prescription but made sure to tell me not to take it everyday - just after I had sex (WTF?!?!) It's not the morning after pill!!
Anyway, the pharmacy took a few days to get it shipped in (from somewhere). The doctor would only prescribe 2 months worth at a time because it was so "dangerous".
It comes in a 21 pack though, not a 28 pack (like back in Australia). This means that there are no sugar pills for 7 days. You just don't take any pills for the week between packs. I'd never seen that in Australia, but apparently it's common in the US. |

Also - it's more expensive than the other OTC pills.
Maybe 10,000 - 15,000 per month.... I can't quite remember. |
