Hey all,
My Wii's power supply finally went, and Nintendo of Korea is being awesome and refusing to fix it (it's not a Korean Wii, so apparently that utterly changes the hardware inside.... oh wait, it doesn't). This leaves me with an expensive paper weight for another six months, until I make a trip to the US.
So, rather than have them sit around my apartment unused, I'm looking to sell the whole set - games, drums, guitar and mic - for 50k. They're all in great condition and I've never had a problem with any of them. PM me if you're interested. |

Maybe I'm crazy, but couldn't you just buy a Korean power block and plug it into your American Wii? The output voltage/watt should be the same out of the block. I'm no expert, though. |

This is true, I bought a Korean power supply at Yongsan in the underground games market for 30k won and have been using it with my Jap Wii with no problems.
If you're still interested in selling that stuff though... yeah. |

No, no. I've had a converter for years and it's worked fine. I mean the actual internal power supply went - or at least something is loose inside. When I turn it on I get no audio, no video and the USB ports aren't getting powered. However, the disc spins and you can hear it is on. And no, it's not my cables, I tried both my component cables (which I normally use) and the standard ones that come with the console. |

Oh, I'm an idiot. I didn't mention that I'm in Seoul - the general Hongdae area, to be more specific. |
