Your best bet may be to go to an empty hof that will let you choose what is on the telly.

Actually, go into the Korean Herald archives...about 2 or 3 weeks back. There is a race soon, and it may be F-1. IThe article was near the back, in the business section.
It will be down south; Pusan, or maybe a bit north of Pusan.

Sorry I am so sketchy on the details, but you may want to consider searching, or e-mailing the Herald direct.

Good luck.

Star Sports (out of Hong Kong) carries all the F1 races, although the commentary is dubbed over into Cantonese (er, maybe it's Mandarin?) You can find the schedule at http://startv.com/eng/index.cfm. Acording to the schedule on the net, the next race will be at 15:00 (3 PM) next Sunday, March 21. (However, that *may* be HK time, which is one hour behind us; that would make it 4PM here)

On another note, why bother even watching? It's pretty apparent after just one race that Ferrari's got the season locked up already. They might as well just hand over the trophies now and let everyone else race for 2nd & 3rd place. Ferrari should probably be forced to use their 2002 challenger, just to give everyone else a fair shot. Looks like yet another long, boring year for F1... and given the way all the best teams are jumping from CART to the IRL (damn you, Tony George! Mad ) I may have to start watching NASCAR to get a decent racing fix... Crying or Very sad

Actually, that's probably a Formula 3 race, held in Changwon, which is about 40 minutes from Busan by bus. I thought that last year was to be the last year that they were going to hold that race in Changwon, though... Question Also, it's always been held in the fall... Question

I was there in November of (99? 2000?), got to see Jensen Button challenging for the win (didn't quite make it) just before he made the jump to F1. It's a pretty good weekend with several different classes of races. IF there is going to be another race weekend there, I'd consider going down for it, so if anyone else knows anything about this, I'd sure like to hear about it.

Thanks all. Unfortunately, I was unable to watch the zoom-zoom. Before Malaysia, Eunoia, I would have disagreed about the projected dominance of Ferrari this season, but now...I suppose Bridgestone took a good whuppin' from the boys in Maranello. For me, this is a good thing. As for the rest of you, yeah, it's not terribly exciting to watch. Perhaps Alonso will provide a few surpises. Kimi, too, I guess. BAR is also looking much stronger. The first true Michelin track will be the final litmus test (other than the actual final points tally). At any rate, I gotsta get the cable and fast.

BTW if anyone does wanna meet for a few beers to watch a race somewhere, I'm game.

Where are you located?

I would love to meet up to watch the race. I haven't watched one in a while - but I still follow religiously. I am downloading the MalaysianGP right now, actually.

... and, if all goes well, I'll be at the Spanish GP this summer in Catalunya.

I'm sure one of the pubs in Itaewon would put the race on- they should be on Sunday evenings from here on out (except for Japan, not sure when that one is, though). I'd be into meeting for it.

I thought the Renaults looked pretty racy, and if not for Weber's poor start, the Jag's might have made a race of it. While Ferrari almost certainly have first place virtually sewn up, it looks like there could be a lot of competition for 2nd and 3rd. It might make this season more interesting than we've seen in a few years.
