Is this appropriate?

Go to the US Treasury's official website. Click on "Buy Paper Money." It brings you to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

Prominent there is a video of the new $5 bill. (It is from 2007.) Right click to watch on YouTube, and it brings you to the account of a guy named "pinkosquare." Go to his account. His featured video? I am not even sure I am allowed to describe it on Dave's.

Did the Treasury go to this guy and say, "We wanna put up a video about a new bill. Can we borrow your YouTube account?"

If this is the level of professionalism at the highest levels of government, maybe 9/11 really was due to mere ineptitude.

I suppose someone could make an issue of that, and it does show the drawbacks of the government hooking up with private sector media, especially something as free-wheeling as YouTube. Overall though, I'd say that's roughly on par with the government advising people to look up a particular department in the Yellow Pages, and then they do and see ads for escort services and massage parlours.

And I didn't watch the risque video. Does it actually show the activity referenced in the title? As I recall, it was called "How to get your girlfriend to do etc", not "How to do etc".

I only watched it to answer your question. It doesn't show it, but advises that, as a last resort, hit her over the head with a brick and then have your way.

Maybe it is somehow related to what the Treasury is doing to the American people. Question

Okay, that's a bit more out-there than the escort ads I was referencing earlier. Someone at the Treaury should probably have checked that account out a bit better.

In the video's "defense," I should say that it is an attempt at humor, but nevertheless it is in very bad taste and certainly appropriate to be in any way related to the US Treasury.
